The mission of Grace City is to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
No matter where you are on your journey of faith, spiritual growth – or formation –
happens both individually and in community with other believers.
Healthy Christians consistently make the time and effort to engage in
both a personal devotional life with the Lord and small group discipleship.
SMALL GROUP DISCIPLESHIP
First and foremost, join a Gospel Community – a coed group of 8-15 that meets regularly for fellowship and encouragement around God’s Word. If you’re not currently in a group, contact us and we’ll help you get connected.
Additionally, there are Men’s, Women’s, and Youth Groups that would love to include you and your kids. Part Bible study, part Gospel application, and part goofing off with friends you can count on, these groups provide additional settings for growth.
PERSONAL DEVOTIONAL LIFE
Create healthy habits that include daily Bible reading and other spiritual disciplines like self-examination, confession, and prayer. Here’s a practical resource we’ve created for you to do a weekly self-evaluation geared toward Gospel-centered transformation.
1. Daily Bible Reading
Even if you can only start with 5 or 10 minutes a day, start somewhere! Choose a favorite book of the Bible or topic to study, follow one of these reading plans online, or reach out and contact us for some personalized suggestions just for you.
2. Grace City Resources
Check out our RESOURCES tab, where you can find a whole library of audio messages and blog posts on a wide range of topics and texts.
3. Read a Book or Article
Under our RESOURCES tab, we have a list of Recommended Reads on various topics ranging from theology to practical Christian living (marriage, parenting, etc.). We’ve also curated an extensive list of recommended books, articles, and websites on Bible study here. Feel free to reach out and contact us for some personalized reading suggestions just for you.
Looking for something shorter? Some of our ministry partners like The Gospel Coalition, Redeemer City to City, and Acts 29 have databases of articles you can search by topic. Practicing The Way also has some practical discipleship articles arranged by topic.
4. Subscribe to a Podcast
Some of our favorites are Gospel in Life, This Cultural Moment, and The Faith & Work Podcast. Feel free to reach out and contact us for some personalized listening suggestions just for you.
