God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Dear Lord, thank you for loving me when I’m at my best and when I’m at my worst. Thank you for loving me, not because of who I am or what I can do, but because of who you are and what you have done. Help me to treasure your unreserved, unconditional love, and cause me to love others like that. For Christ’s sake, Amen.
