What are some of the free gifts humanity received through the coming of Jesus Christ into our world?
What are some ways a good Christmas gift points to the ultimate gift of salvation in Jesus?
What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions? What about those traditions can help you enjoy Jesus as the greatest gift?
- Sing carols together.
Pay careful attention to the lyrics. What are they saying the world experienced through the birth of Christ? What kinds of responses do they call for from you?
- Pray aloud.
Adore: What do you find beautiful and praiseworthy in the Christmas Story and in what it reveals about the character and works of God?
Accept: What does the Christmas Story show you about God’s will for this earth, and your life, that you need to embrace?
Ask: What does the Christmas Story invite you to ask of God?
- Give to someone in need who can’t repay you.
